![]() ![]() ![]() I tried to keep away from making it look too much like a guy wearing clothes (*coughAshShroudcough*) or looking completely absurd/unrecognizable (*coughLimboLiminaRevenantMephistocough*). I quickly designed an altered Transmutation Probe based on old-school fancy leech jars when I decided to apply Blood to Electric. When I was trying to play into that with this redesign, I originally intended for Blood/Sanguine to be Heat, but I learned that each Humor has an associated element, season, and temperature/moisture, finding that Blood/Sanguine is associated with Air and that one of the Humors was already associated with Heat/Fire. The Redditor also mentioned that there are four base WF elements and four humors to match them up with. I also decided to give the arm veins raised ridges of flesh on their sides implying the placement of the leeches like how the coiled flesh on regular Lavos implies his snakes. The Reddit person mentioned that the placement of the leg wires and the veins up the sides of the neck resembled lymph node placements (which was unintended lol), and I decided to play into it further by having lines snaking up from his palms and around his shoulders to connect to the shoulder vials. The cloak was my original intention for the original sketch, but the sketch was giving me frustration back on the previous drawing, hence the old hat. He has claws on the underside of his fingers, not on the outer ends. #LAVOS WARFRAME FULL#Unite opposing forces and test your mettle against the full mustered force of the Sentients, a legion of adaptable. Fight on the frontlines in every corner of the Origin System in a thrilling storyline of exploration and discovery. If there were pipes/wires sticking out, it would become a full clipping nightmare. Lavos Warframe Experience The New War, Warframe’s largest cinematic expansion yet. The shoulder bottles do not connect to anything on the back, in an attempt to keep this design more syandana-friendly. I drew up an alternate helmet concept to try and make it more obvious + more fleshiness The helmet beak was intended to be based on the Oxpecker bird, which is nowadays known for being vampiric as opposed to entirely mutualistic. I actually got some decent, damn-detailed feedback on Reddit and decided to flesh this out further and make a proper, detailed ref. me making a lot of connections about Lavos and (Energy) Leeches + my desire to complete my Plague Knight cosplay gone off-the-rails? I'm also really bad with Warframe's greebly-heavy designs lmao.Remember my previous Lavos "Humorous" sketch? A.K.A. I didn't want the helmet to look too much like a guy wearing a hat, I know that Lavos already looks quite artificial-looking, Limbo and Mesa exist, and that many deluxe skins look even more artificial-looking, but I wanted to rein myself in. So, humors, call it humorous *wink* Hey, puns. Why don't I give Lavos leeches?", then I got the idea to replace his snakes with leeches, which reminded me of the old-school "Humors" theory that used to be around, which people balanced with the usage of leeches in regards to "too much" blood, which ended up with me using lots of red lmao. I was thinking about how good Lavos is against Leech Eximus and other means of energy drain (being that he doesn't use energy), and then my mind jumped to the plague doc helmet idea again, the my brain went "plague doctors like leeches. This kicked my ass, didn't even want to try for too much cleanness, still a bit lost as to what to do for some details (mostly the chest and even still the helmet), but I just wanted to get the idea out there. I just wanna complete my Lavos Plague Knight fashionframe cosplay, dammit. ![]()
